Women’s Equality Day

Women Equality Day

Date(s) - 08/26/2027 - 08/27/2027
All Day

The 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution grants women the right to vote. The amendment was first introduced in 1878.

Women rights to vote

Are women equal to men?

Do we get the same pay as men?

Are we given equal opportunities as men?

Are we where we should be?

It is important that women continue to stand up for their rights and ensure that equality is right not an option. Women should be empowered and given the same rights as men.

ERA – Equal Rights Amendment of the U.S. Consitution guarantees equal legal rights for all American citizens. The purpose is to end the legal distinction between men in women of divorce, property, employment, and other matters.

We have come a long way fighting for our rights. The fight is not over. Women are still harassed in the workforce, given lesser pay wages, and often denied professional positions. It is important that women empower each other to continue to overcome the obstacles faced by inequality.

Zen as Shit

The Group Focus and Motto

I was blessed to be a part of a unique group of ladies called Wild Bitches that originated from Cafemom many moons ago. I still stay connected with these fine ladies through the Facebook group. What makes them interesting is they are very open, blunt, and call it like it is. Some people might find them a little too bold, offensive, or even vulgar. The truth is these ladies are caring, passionate, and give you their best selves if you are honest and accept them for who they are. People like to think that women that curse or tend to be on the rough side are immature, crude, and reckless. This is not true.

The ultimate goal is to be sure everyone has a place that fits their personality and lifestyle. While most people focus on basic general self-improvement (psychological direction) some prefer spiritual or religion. I wanted to open an option for ladies that want to focus on self-improvement that prefer a different approach.

The group is open for discussions, sharing, and devotions based on the journals created by Monica Sweeney. The books we will follow are: Find Your Fucking Happy, Zen as Fuck, and Let That Shit Go.
