Discussions are useful because they allow users to post content and allow other users to respond over a period of time without losing the topic or discussion. Announcements and other information can be pinned so that members can see them.
Activity Feed: The group activity feed allows the instructor, moderator, participants, and guests to communicate information in the group quickly.
Discussions:Forums are for members to exchange in-depth information and conversations. All members can start a new thread/discussion, reply in discussions.
Zoom: Meetings will be set up for members to utilize for outside class extra practices. Please expect that these meetings will be utilized when we are between our class breaks (late fall, winter, summer). It is strongly encouraged students meet on Wednesday for 30 minutes to 1 hour of fingerspelling practice. Please have a list of words ready to share with others. Have a whiteboard or paper/marker ready or open the chat and respond with your answers in chat.
Group Setting and Privacy: This group will be open (visible) until the Sign Language courses are set up. Once the courses are up and running, this group will be closed to joined members only.
